HARC

HPM Acquisition Recording Capability

HARC is a small, EMI-hardened single-board oscilloscope built to capture and transmit high-fidelity, directly sampled HPM waveforms to a ground station over a fiber optic connection during HPM test and evaluation. Because it samples the signal directly and transmits over fiber, HARC preserves waveform fidelity even in the electromagnetically harsh environments that HPM testing creates—the same conditions that compromise conventional instrumentation.

For test and evaluation teams, HARC delivers the bandwidth, dynamic range, and real-time feedback needed to characterize fast, high-energy signals with confidence. For system integrators, its compact form factor and standard interfaces make it a ready building block for sensing systems that detect and record RF emissions.

KEY Features

  • Compact, deployable form factor — Small size and low weight make HARC suitable as a UAS payload and easy to integrate into constrained test setups and sensing systems.
  • 3 GHz directly sampled input channels — Directly sampled inputs with 3 GHz input bandwidth capture fast HPM transients with high fidelity.
  • Configurable RF front end — Adjustable gains and attenuations accommodate both broadband and narrowband signals across a wide range of conditions.
  • 50 Ω SMA interface — Standard 50 Ω SMA connections are compatible with a wide range of antennas and field probes.
  • EMI-hardened design — Built to operate through the electromagnetic interference generated during HPM events, where conventional instrumentation can fail.
  • Real-time waveform streaming — Waveforms are communicated to the ground station in real time for immediate feedback during test events.
  • Intuitive interface — A simple setup and data-visualization interface streamlines configuration and review.
